Update***we love this place, but after an increase in prices, $9 a burrito is a little hard to swallow!!!
La Mesita remains our favorite Mexican food place around. Everything is always rich, flavorful, and authentically delicious. Most importantly, their carne asada is seasoned and cooked well without being too greasy. Also, their salsa bar is top notch! All 8 options are to die for! Mexican food is all about the salsa and they hit it out of the park! -

Since I can remember La Mesita has been consistant with their food... Nothing has ever disappointed. I love their carne asada fries, rolled tacos and the California burrito. Recently i tried the chile relleno burrito and it was so good. They have a variety of salsas and they are family owned.

It has been a long time since I was last here. Ordered a carne asada and cali burrito to go.
Place looks cleaner then I remember it.
Pricey for 2 burritos to go. Almost $18 total. They are big, not the biggest but good size. My carne asada burrito was good and filling. Not exceptional. My friend liked her California burrito. We both like Mexican food, eat plenty of it, and have similar taste buds so it was unusual for us to disagree on the food. Food is subjective. I would still eat here but I would probably skip the carne asada burrito. -

Came here on a Saturday evening, around 6:30pm. It was pretty busy - me, two other families dining in, and about three others in line to order.
We ordered:
* 2 combo plates (carne asada & pollo)
* 2 fish tacos
* 10 small tacos (carne asada, adobada, cabeza)
All this came out to a total of ~$50, and everything tasted great, especially the tacos :) the LIGHT GREEN sauce has a kick to it, and complements the protein very well. Didn't really dig the orange sauce, as it was too rich. This is definitely one of the cleaner taco shops, so I can see why folks would actually eat here. No drive-thru option, but they do cater, and make deliveries.
Docked a star because I didn't love EVERYTHING we ordered - like the fish tacos, but I will still come back for the cabeza and other small tacos :)
